Installation Requirements

Pre-Installation Preparation

Ensure the vehicle engine has cooled down, drain the old oil, and remove the old filter.

Clean the surface of the filter mounting seat to ensure no residual debris or old sealing rings remain.

Sealing Ring Treatment

Apply a small amount of clean oil to the sealing ring of the new filter to prevent seal failure due to dryness during installation.

Tightening Torque

After manually tightening the filter until the sealing ring contacts the mounting seat, use a tool to tighten it an additional 1/4 to 1/2 turn (specifics shall be in accordance with the vehicle manual, usually 20-30 N・m).

Startup Inspection
